This place was great! I had never been in this town before, and ChatGPT recommended this place. After an unpleasant experience in a nearby area, I decided to come here and read my book. The staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was peaceful and adorable. I sat on the second floor as most of the tables downstairs and outside were taken. That worked out perfectly as I was able to eat, read my book, and look out the window at the perfectly blue sky. My sandwich and coffee were fantastic!! It was lunchtime, so it wasn't a breakfast sandwich and I can't remember which one I had. I came right in time because all of the other tables upstairs were taken shortly after I arrived. I will definitely visit this place again if I'm in the area.
Came for the books, stayed for the coffee and extremely delicious pastries. Small coffee shop and bookstore overlooking the ocean definitely worth a visit! Usually has a line but it moves very quickly. Outstanding and professional staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Has small but very tempting range of both baked and not cooked to order options that are absolutely delicious! Fills up quickly but has seating upstairs, indoors and outside so you can usually find a place. Very attentive and friendly staff who are professional and pleasant. Highly recommend!
I think this place is absolutely adorable. As many of us would expect, a coffeehouse/bookstore on the beach is exactly as cozy and relaxing as it sounds. We (my husband and I) got the sausage, egg, and cheese English muffin sandwich. Super yummy. Tasted very fresh. Also, I was a barista for 3 years which has made me a bit of a coffee snob. For me, at least, their latte was super smooth and not too sweet at all (I also got it half sweet). Went here every day while we were visiting!
What a gem for book fanatics and caffeine addicts alike. Line is worth the wait. Second building coming soon! 2025 update: It is a requirement to stop here every time I'm in town. The farmers market on Saturdays, down the street at Memorial Park, is the icing on the coffeecake
Very beautiful place nice and relaxing off route 90 in Pass Christian Mississippi. I got a Mississippi mocha, 2 eggs sunny side up and crispy bacon 3 slices was $12.84 including tax not bad at all. Food was delicious and the Mississippi mocha yummy.
Fabulous coffee. We dropped in to have an espresso late in the day. The staff behind the counter is very knowledgeable on their coffee. They poured what is probably the most perfect espresso I may have ever had. Their beans are a little light but still very tasty and definitely not a blonde roast. Very chill location able to see the beach from the front deck. It was super easy to walk here and we will be back again.
absolutely wonderful. The staff are very kind, the environment is absolutely charming. I do recommend Cat Island Coffeehouse Bookstore.
Love Cat Island Coffeehouse. Both locations. The brisket biscuit is delicious. Also, the Golden Milk (?). It's been a while but it's turmeric, oat milk and honey. Definitely my go-to. I like to introduce this quaint bookstore/cafe to all my friends and family that come to the coast.
